FIELD TRIP FRIDAY, MAY 22

Our class will enjoy a special time at the White Oak Splash Pad on Friday.  Permission slips were sent home on Thursday.  Please return your signed permission form with $1.00 to school by Thursday so that your child may attend.  We plan to arrive at the park around 10:00 and return to school by 1:30.  Students will bring a sack lunch, and there will be a concession for snacks if your child wishes to bring extra money.  A list of snacks and prices was on the letter that I sent home.  We look forward to a great field trip!

WEEK OF APRIL 20 – 24

STAAR testing …Please NO outside food or visitors in the Cafeteria on Monday, Tuesday, or Wednesday.

4th Grade STAAR Test Schedule – Tuesday, April 21 – MATH STAAR Test and

Wednesday, April 22 – READING STAAR Test

MARCH 30 and 31

imgresReminder that all fourth graders will be taking the writing STAAR test on Monday and Tuesday of this week.  We have worked hard all year, and I know that they can do this!  Ask your child to share his or her STAAR Bootcamp Book information with you for review one last time.  These kids know their stuff! I am so proud of the hard work they have done to prepare.  Also, make sure they get plenty of sleep each night before the test,  bring an unopened bottle of room temperature water, and mint flavored gum for during the test.  Please, no bubble gum!

Breakfast will be provided on Monday and Tuesday by Mrs. Rock and our fabulous cafeteria.  No outside food deliveries will be allowed for lunch on those days.
