Our spelling test will be Friday, April 8, over Journeys Lesson 6 word list:

On Tuesday, our 4th graders will be taking the Writing STAAR test, for which they have been diligently preparing.   A letter will be sent home on Monday with students with these reminders:

Students should:

1.  Go to bed early 

2.  Eat a good breakfast

3.  Be on time for school

4.  Bring their own lunches or eat in the Cafeteria since food brought in will be allowed on testing days

There will be no spelling test this week due to it being a short week, but there will be writing homework sent home on Monday.

EASTER PARTY – Thursday in the Pavilion from 10:45 – 11:30.   Please send $1.00 to purchase an ice cream sundae from the Sonic.  Parents are welcome to attend and may take their children home following the party.  Also, if you want to send Easter party favors or wrapped candy, it will be appreciated.

THANK YOU for  all of the wonderful treats that were provided for our Valentine party!   Each student enjoyed the food and favors and appreciated your thoughtfulness and generosity.  

There will be no spelling test this week, but the students will be given Journeys Lesson 13 to study for a test on Thursday, February 18.  

On Friday, February 12, our class will be having a day of challenging activities covering several areas of the curriculum to celebrate this special day. Each student will need to make a Valentine box/sack and buy Valentine cards for all of the students in our class.  Please have the box/sack and cards at school by Thursday, February 11.  On Friday, February 12, students should bring their favorite canned/plastic bottled drink.   If you would like to send favors and/or candy for each student, that would be wonderful and greatly appreciated.
