We’ve had a great week back from our Christmas break!  There will be spelling words and a test on them Friday.  Also, to prepare for our STAAR Writing test that is approaching, a Writing homework paper will be sent home at the beginning of the week to be turned in on Thursday.  Students who show their thinking, get a parent’s signature, and turn it in on time will be rewarded during class.

There will be no spelling words for the week, but there will be a common assessment on Tuesday over nouns (common and proper, plurals and possessives).  The students have been working with these for a few weeks.

Wednesday is the Big Kahuna Party Bus for students who sold at least 15 items.

Thursday is picture retake day.   Also,  Big Kahuna delivery will be from 2:00 – 5:30.

Thanksgiving Break is November 19-23.
