Spelling words are from Sitton Unit 4. Study for test Thursday!
Congratulations to the 4th graders for preparing for the challenging spelling test this week! Their grades were evident of their dedication. I am so proud of them! Next week our spelling words are from Sitton Unit 2. Study for test Thursday!
Parents, please check your child’s homework folder for a special opportunity. We are planning a Career Day for October 6, and we are looking for volunteers. All the information is on a pink paper that I sent home today.
The spelling words are from Journeys Lesson 5. These words are homophones they may be more challenging to spell correctly. Be sure to study for the test on Thursday!
I am enjoying getting to know your students! They are working hard and learning new skills in writing and science. In writing, they are learning by singing some new songs. You might ask your child to sing one of the songs for you.
Our Spelling words for next Thursday’s test is from Sitton Unit 1 listed below.
We are off to a great start! Your child received the first spelling list to study for next Thursday’s test. Below is the list from Journeys Lesson 1. You may also access them from my Spelling City account that is linked on my blog.
It’s hard to believe it’s once again time for school to begin! I can’t wait to see your smiling faces and get to meet all of my new students! Our Meet the Teacher time is on Thursday, August 18, from 4:30 to 5:30. Hope to see you there!
